.
– You run so fast, O my little brook!
Can't you stop a little bit?
“Oh, I can never stop myself.
I must help the monjolo to knock.
Many pets I will invite
to drink my water or swim.
I give water to the fields of clear greens,
and in my mirror the flowers are spying.
Soon in the river I will empty.
The little streams are where they go.
The river runs, proud, rolling
and, to the sea, we are all taking it.
From the mountain, from the rocks, I came.
And my path seems endless!
