R$85,00
“From Mulungu to Manacá” is a book by Ruth Salles about the tropical flora of Brazil, for children from 8 to 80 years old. As it was written by a poet, it is a very different and special book, because in addition to the botanical aspects, there are poems, legends, songs, tongue twisters, worm talk, fern talk, letter to embaúba, plantinhês study, and the children will also learn history and many cultural curiosities that contextualize the plants and their qualities. With this, the study of tropical plants can be done in a much more playful and profound way.
This book has another very special feature. It was all illustrated by students at Waldorf School Rudolf Steiner, from 1st grade children to high school students. All classes participated, and from each class some drawings were selected to illustrate the book, which was an arduous task, due to the quality of the works.
