poem by Ruth Salles – with music
Blackboard drawing by João Batista Conrado.
pink flower,
in the clear and beautiful sky,
leafy pine tree,
I go high up.
the autumn breeze
rocks me, humming.
dizzy with sleep
the falling leaves.
And the flowers? very early,
already covered the floor.
who knows the secret
what do you keep then?
are fruits left
on the overhanging branches.
They are closed coconuts!
What are you hiding?
I know. Do you know?
hitting the floor,
the fruit opens
and drop cotton.
They are soft pains
on the scattered earth.
You did not want
stuffing pillows?
