“It all started in 2012, when teacher Marisa dos Santos Altavista took over the 1st year of elementary school at Aitiara Escola Waldorf. Four years passed until fate, and Marisa herself, handed over the class to the care of Professor André Korsakas. And how lucky for him!
For several reasons, among them for being a group that liked to sing so much and that sang so well! After all, music, in one form or another, was always present in the life of the new teacher and now there was a great opportunity to compose new songs: to reach the students' feelings and make learning more alive. The first of them came into the world when André had not yet taken over the class, but he had the opportunity to take a break during the 4th year. At that moment, the class studied a little about the people of origin of our Brazil: the Indians. The students were then given the task of asking at home about words of indigenous origin and with the words they brought to the class, Aevema (Thank you) was created.
And the idea seemed to have worked so well that the professor was excited! In the 5th year, Reino Musical was born, for the study of Botany, and Brazil and its Capitals for Geography. In the 6th, Entre was created, with the idea of singing about the search for balance within polar situations and feelings so typically experienced by children from the age of 12.
We started the 7th grade with Navegar when we studied the Age of Navigations, as a History content, and later on, it was the turn of The Temple, inspired by a thought by Novalis, when we studied Anthropology. In 2019, in the 8th and final year of elementary school, Vida Humana arrived, when, once again, we studied Anthropology and within it we dealt with the human gift that allows him to participate in the creation of life.
And it was also at the beginning of 2019 that the desire to record a CD, something that some families had already expressed over time, gained strength to come true. Families, teachers and students organized and worked hard to accomplish this beautiful work. The song that lends its name to the CD was created when André still didn’t think about becoming a teacher, but fate had certainly already traced its path, or rather, ours.”
