poem by Maria Luiza Freitas Guimarães

Homer, honorable man,
inherited a hotel in Hungary,
but when he went to inhabit it,
saw humble inn.

There was a guest in the hotel
that Homer humiliated,
but the horrified Hungarian
still honored him.

He was a Dutch man,
very hostile by the way
and the bad breath I had
it was usual.

One night, late at night,
the Dutchman Homer woke up:
“Make me some mint tea,
because I feel very bad.”

But Homer was not in harmony:
“Go find a hospital!”
