My boyfriend

To teach the three compound tenses of the subjunctive mood.

poem by Maria Luiza Freitas Guimarães

I still have, one of these days,
to find a boyfriend.
He needs to be
like a prince charming,
that at five in the morning
already woke up
and at six, my breakfast,
he has prepared,
and then, at seven o'clock,
my kisses have stolen,
and at eight, in your arms,
he has snared me.

Oh! oh my god how i wish
that I had already found him
and that all these dreams
if they had done
and that today, at this hour,
we would have married
and a child of that love
we had ordered.

Oh, when I've made it
my dream come true
and when i have gone up
bride on that altar
and we have kneeled
for the priest to bless
and we have sworn to each other
never separate us again,
I will be the most perfect woman
that a man could ever dream of.
Knock Knock! "My daughter!
It's time to wake up!"
