CHOIR:
– In a kingdom far away,
far away, far away from here,
a gardener planted (gardeners and flowers act)
flowers I've never seen.

The princess, from the balcony,
seeing the beautiful flowers,
thanked delicately
whom he planted beautiful roses. (the princesses thank and walk)

And walked, enchanted,
for them endless hours. (music)
Then sat down, tired, (the princesses sit)
on the bench in that garden.

There, sitting on the bench,
with a comb they combed their hair, (they comb their hair)
when he saw a white rabbit (the rabbits approach them)
that jumped among the flowers. (percussion)

With your jumping jumps
and let yourself be caressed.
She secures it with the ribbon (princesses and bunnies represent)
and go for a walk with him.

The princess arrives at the castle
and to the gate he went.
The rabbit, promptly,
tore the tape and ran away.

So sad she felt,
who didn't even sleep at night.

Returned to the bank in the morning
and, seeing the white rabbit,
let him get closer.

She became mute and fell.
He tied a silk cord,
went for a walk with him.

The princess arrives at the castle
and to the gate he went.
The rabbit, promptly,
broke the cord. Ran away!

So sad she felt,
who didn't even sleep at night.

As soon as the day was born,
there went looking for you
and this time arrested him
with the waist band.

But it was of little use to him.
The rabbit, at the end of the day,
with the sash slipped away,
when to the castle she went.

And so sad she got,
because he doesn't know,
who lay in bed,
always sick to suffer.

The king was worried, (now kings, doctors and sages act)
called doctors and sages
for this evil to fight.

DOCTORS AND SAGES:
- Oh, it's normal, at this age,
suffer like this from homesickness
not sure what.

CHOIR:
- But no party or joke
distracted the princess.
there was no way
to take away the sadness.
However, around
good old lady used to live.

OLD WOMAN (comes out of the choir and speaks):
– Who knows the beautiful princess
don't you hear my story?

CHOIR:
- On the way to the castle,
the old lady was scared.
He saw a simple donkey. (the donkey's performance with the old lady)
He almost didn't believe it.

As soon as the donkey stopped,
already loaded with firewood,
her loin she embraced,
stuck to him on one side.

By paths and paths,
walking in the pitch, in the dark,
saw at the end of the lane
a palace of pure gold. (the castle becomes a palace with golden paper)

After eating and drinking,
she saw, with great amazement,
a rabbit, and it was white!
Who was to say? (the rabbit appears and acts)

Having come from the garden,
bathed in a fountain.
And out of there, at last,
a prince who sang. (rabbit transformation)

PRINCES (sing with the choir):
“Band and cord,
oh, ribbon of your hair…
Oh, I wish I was here
the mistress of my cares.”

CHOIR:
– The old woman was amazed!

OLD WOMAN:
- I'll tell this to the princess!

CHOIR:
- Came out to the donkey
and there she went, all hurriedly,
visit His Highness.
Arriving at the castle, at last,
told the king his father thus.

OLD WOMAN:
– I have come to entertain Your Highness,
I tell enchanting stories!

KING:
– Distract, are you sure?

CHOIR:
“And the king let her in.
The old woman told, told
what we already know.
The princess then shouted:

PRINCESS:
– Old lady, take me there!

CHOIR:
– They clung to the donkey
and even though it's dark,
they quickly spotted
the palace of pure gold.
They advance silently,
but behold, they stand still.
What was that on the floor?

PRINCESS:
– Who is lying there?
Rabbit or man, lost
in the midst of darkness?

CHOIR:
- So sad she felt,
that the sweet voice barely heard.

PRINCE:
– Your hug and your song
broke my spell.
now the time has come
of the happiest marriage.

CHOIR:
- And the prince and princess
got married. What a beauty!
Invitations were endless!
As for the old lady, happy,
got the donkey as a gift
and was so happy.
