The red rose laughs in the branches

Blackboard drawing by teacher Juliana Nogueira.

Rough and angry, roars the buffalo.
Howls and plays the white goat.

The zebra brays, the zephyr hums.
The red rose laughs on the branch.
Freeze the leaf to rustle.
Curves the clear stream.
The wind flies and envelops the valley.
The rain sizzles and soaks the ground,
drips on rocks, jumps on plants,
licks and washes and takes the mud.
Ring the bell in dream sound.
In the square, in full pomp,
the duck passes, the dove passes.
