Learning with Poetry – release

The book “Learning with Poetry” by Ruth Salles was released.

The book contains 96 poems and 6 songs for classroom use.

The book “Learning with Poetry”, by Ruth Salles, was launched during the Christmas Bazaar and Pedagogical Exhibition of the Waldorf Rudolf Steiner School, in São Paulo. It brings poems for rhythm exercises, for diction exercises, poems for learning grammar, for eurythmy classes, poems about Brazilian myths and legends, and on many other topics.

To carry out this edition, we had the support of the Monte Azul Association, represented by our great supporter Ute Craemer, who ordered 200 books for the community educators graduating from the Maynumbi project. We also had great support from Professor Luiza Lameirão, coordinator of the Teacher Training Center for Waldorf Pedagogy, who publicized the book at all seminars across Brazil and at other Waldorf schools, which brought us over 200 requests. We also had the support of the Rudolf Steiner School, which acquired 100 books, the support of the Federation of Waldorf Schools, represented by Shigueyo Mizoguchi, who helped us to publicize the book, and also the support of the Aliança pela Infância.

The graphic design and publishing were created by Marcelo Girard, from IMG3, who is a Waldorf father and who also created the cover of the book. The sheet music editing was done by our director Pedro Paulo Salles.
