.
Tick-tock, tick-tock,
time passes quietly.
walk very slowly
the little pointer.
Turn, turn now the big one,
quickly turned around.
The minute goes by,
ticking… it's gone!
Dark night... We sleep,
all nature sleeps.
Night still… Suddenly…
tick, what a surprise!
(Here children can imitate the rooster’s crow: “Cocorocó!”)
In the terreiro the rooster crows!
The sun is already rising.
Everyone gets out of bed,
ticking, stretching.
The father leaves and hurries his step.
They are already waiting for you at work!
And boy, tick,
go to school via the shortcut.
At the ticking sound,
time goes by:
It's already going down in the afternoon,
the flowers are closing.
The son is coming,
and the father is not late.
And the mother opens
the door of the house.
In a tick,
the birds
already wrap up
inside the nests.
ring the bell,
the sun disappears
on the horizon.
and the stars
shine beautiful
over the hill.
and the moon
looks
that lights up
in the woods
fire
silver.
Tic…
Tack…
