Aesop's fable

A dog went to lie down in a manger full of hay, and when the oxen came to the stable, he would not let them eat. A couple of oxen came over to take some hay, but the furious dog started barking and baring its teeth.

– “Petty animal”, said the ox, “how bad you are! You don't even let me take advantage of what our owner intends for us and that you are of no use to you.”
