Aesop's fable
One day, a certain wolf disguised himself with a sheepskin and thus managed to blend in with the flock, killing and devouring many of them.
The shepherd found him, captured him, and tying a rope around his neck, hung him from a tree that grew near the road.
Some shepherds who were passing by asked him why he was hanging that sheep. When he showed them he was a wolf, they thought the punishment very fair.
