Aesop's fable
Two friends walking together saw a bear. One of them ran and climbed a tree, and the other only had time to stretch out on the ground, pretending to be dead. From there the bear approached and began to smell him from all sides, especially in his mouth and ears, and imagining him dead, he left him and went to the woods.
The one in the tree came down and jokingly asked his friend what the bear had said in his ear.
- "He gave me", replied the other, "good advice: never to make me accompany friends like you."
