Aesop's fable
A certain shepherd, who was tending his sheep on a hill, amused himself by alarming the husbandmen, shouting to them that a wolf was coming, and asking them for help. They all helped, but when they saw that it wasn't true, they went back to their work, finally convinced that the pastor wanted nothing more than to make fun of them.
It happened, however, that once a wolf actually appeared and, entering the flock, caused great harm because, no matter how loudly the shepherd cried out for help, no one moved to help him, certain that he wanted to deceive them in his own way. new.
